Fleet Sale FAQ

Thinking about buying one of our former rental vehicles? Our annual Fleet Sale is a great opportunity to purchase a well-maintained, late-model vehicle at a good value. But we know buying a former rental comes with questions.

We’ve put together answers to the questions we hear most often about our Fleet Sale, including vehicle pricing, purchasing process, and what to expect when you buy a vehicle from Centerline Car Rentals.

How are Fleet Sale prices determined?
Our Fleet Sale vehicles are priced based on fair market value for each vehicle. In addition, the applicable road tax—an import fee based on the vehicle’s weight—has already been paid by Centerline.
Does Centerline offer financing?
Centerline does not offer financing for our Fleet Sale; however, many of our customers obtain an auto loan from a local financial institution. Options include credit unions, Bank of St. Croix, FirstBank, Oriental Bank, and Popular.
Can I take a test drive?
Yes! Come to our Airport Rental Car Returns office between 9am and 5pm to test drive our Fleet Sale vehicles. Contact us via our Fleet Sale Contact Form or call 340-692-2525 if you’d like to schedule a test drive in advance.
How are your vehicles maintained?
Our Fleet Sale vehicles have been maintained as part of our rental fleet, with routine maintenance performed throughout their time with Centerline. Before a vehicle is offered for sale, we also evaluate its condition to ensure it is ready for its next owner.
Do Centerline vehicles come with a warranty?

Yes. Our Fleet Sale vehicles come with a Mechanical & Safety warranty for 60 days or 1,500 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty is valid on St. Croix, USVI only.

Do you ship to St. Thomas?

Yes, we can ship vehicles from our Fleet Sale to St. Thomas. If you are located on St. Thomas or St. John and are interested in one of our vehicles for sale, simply contact our Fleet Sale team to discuss your options.
