Food, entertainment, shopping, people watching…just a few reasons why we love the Christiansted Boardwalk. You’ll find a number of restaurants where you can enjoy the scenery of the Christiansted Harbor, including Brew STX, The Mill Boardwalk Bar & Brick Oven Pizza, Shupe’s on the Boardwalk, Rum Runners, and Nate’s Boathouse.
A favorite pastime on the Christiansted Boardwalk is watching and feeding the tarpon. These large, silver fish congregate along the Boardwalk waiting for someone to toss them some food scraps. One of their favorite treats are chicken wing bones and they’ll race through the water to get to them first — sometimes they may even jump to catch them!
The Boardwalk is where many scuba diving and sailing excursions depart, including Big Beard’s, Dive Experience, Parasail Virgin Islands, and Caribbean Sea Adventures, who is featured in our 30th Anniversary St. Croix Experience Giveaway.
Some of our favorite events occur on the Christiansted Boardwalk too, like the St. Croix Christmas Boat Parade, St. Patrick’s Day festivities, and the Krewe de Barkus Dog Parade next week on February 1, 2020.
